Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 8.91% or 22.50 points to trade at 275.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 7.58% or 7.75 points to end at 110.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 4.64% or 5.45 points to 122.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 3.61% or 74.00 points to trade at 1,974.00 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 1.03% or 5.00 points to end at 481.70 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.15% or 0.25 points to 167.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 52 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.61% or 74.00 to 1,974.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.25% or 1.81 to $82.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.20% or 1.86 to hit $86.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.85 to trade at $1,989.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.41% to 7.03, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 106.09.
