Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.57% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 11.33% or 10.61 points to trade at 104.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 9.73% or 38.60 points to end at 435.40 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 8.07% or 47.60 points to 637.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 4.51% or 1,020.00 points to trade at 21,620.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 4.14% or 960.00 points to end at 22,240.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 3.09% or 25.60 points to 804.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 111 to 49 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.16% or 0.15 to $96.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.69% or 0.69 to hit $99.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.07% or 20.70 to trade at $1,909.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.76, while EUR/DKK rose 0.09% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 98.53.
