Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.45% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CSE:DSV), which rose 7.38% or 48.0 points to trade at 698.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 3.73% or 19.2 points to end at 533.4 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 3.57% or 13.1 points to 378.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 3.95% or 3.8 points to trade at 91.8 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.09% or 2.2 points to end at 103.0 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.10% or 0.3 points to 294.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 7.38% or 48.0 to 698.0. Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to 3-years highs; up 3.57% or 13.1 to 378.9.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.90% or 1.57 to $55.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.77% or 1.65 to hit $61.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.45 to trade at $1511.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6933, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4719.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 97.055.
