Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.69% or 46.0 points to trade at 854.8 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 5.00% or 392 points to end at 8232 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was up 4.99% or 6.2 points to 130.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 0.10% or 0.40 points to trade at 414.30 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.91% or 3.7 points to end at 409.8 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was up 0.92% or 1.4 points to 154.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 30 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.59% or 0.40 to $67.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $77.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1231.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.5554, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 96.40.
