Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.32% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.85% or 14.50 points to trade at 391.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 3.56% or 26.60 points to end at 774.80 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 2.81% or 21.80 points to 797.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.63% or 3.10 points to trade at 114.90 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.25% or 4.50 points to end at 354.30 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.15% or 1.90 points to 163.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 63 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; up 3.56% or 26.60 to 774.80.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.02% or 1.57 to $76.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.75% or 1.44 to hit $81.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.89% or 18.20 to trade at $2,069.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 103.01.
