Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 4.79% or 15.6 points to trade at 341.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 3.26% or 10.4 points to end at 329.3 and COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) was up 3.12% or 15.4 points to 508.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which fell 0.21% or 0.3 points to trade at 146.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 0.27% or 0.9 points to end at 335.1 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was up 0.49% or 0.25 points to 51.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 108 to 46 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.79% or 15.6 to 341.5.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.43% or 0.86 to $61.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.10% or 0.71 to hit $65.59 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.74% or 8.70 to trade at $1186.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6078, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4627.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 94.81.
