Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.22% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 6.27% or 46.2 points to trade at 783.4 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 5.28% or 9.8 points to end at 196.3 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 3.62% or 30.80 points to 881.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 0.71% or 1.4 points to trade at 196.3 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 0.03% or 0.2 points to end at 708.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 0.15% or 0.6 points to 396.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 39 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.87% or 0.35 to $40.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.86% or 0.37 to hit $43.27 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.15 to trade at $1814.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.5293, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4463.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 96.058.
