Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which rose 5.48% or 12.8 points to trade at 246.3 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) added 4.46% or 13.2 points to end at 309.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 3.76% or 20.0 points to 552.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 0.83% or 2.6 points to trade at 312.1 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 0.67% or 1.4 points to end at 208.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.10% or 0.1 points to 101.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 37 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.82% or 1.62 to $55.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.76% or 1.72 to hit $60.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.25 to trade at $1501.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.37% to 6.7800, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4608.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 98.648.
