Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 13.39% or 5.84 points to trade at 49.47 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 4.02% or 415 points to end at 10745 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 3.98% or 390 points to 10190 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which rose 0.06% or 0.4 points to trade at 701.0 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 0.09% or 0.06 points to end at 69.86 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.33% or 1.4 points to 430.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 22 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 13.39% or 5.84 to 49.47.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.20% or 0.71 to $59.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.81% or 0.51 to hit $63.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 11.20 to trade at $1326.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.0709, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4474.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 90.17.
