Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.11% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 3.63% or 28.40 points to trade at 809.80 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.71% or 330.00 points to end at 12,515.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.31% or 280.00 points to 12,390.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 3.69% or 70.50 points to trade at 1,841.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.42% or 6.60 points to end at 186.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.72% or 6.60 points to 377.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 54 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; rising 3.63% or 28.40 to 809.80.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.43% or 0.31 to $71.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $77.17 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 16.90 to trade at $2,036.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 104.43.
