Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.11% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 6.97% or 15.4 points to trade at 236.5 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 6.85% or 26.3 points to end at 410.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 4.32% or 12.7 points to 307.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 1.14% or 0.72 points to trade at 62.34 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.61% or 4.2 points to end at 683.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 0.41% or 41 points to 9994.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 54 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to 5-year highs; up 6.97% or 15.4 to 236.5.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.24% or 0.16 to $67.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.21% or 0.15 to hit $72.98 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1306.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.2300, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4493.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 92.51.
