Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.03% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 3.20% or 19.5 points to trade at 629.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 2.72% or 8.4 points to end at 317.3 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 2.64% or 2.25 points to 87.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which rose 0.69% or 2.4 points to trade at 348.2 at the close. Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.71% or 1.0 points to end at 142.6 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was up 0.78% or 1.1 points to 142.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 123 to 32 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (COP:GEN) rose to all time highs; up 3.20% or 19.5 to 629.0. Shares in Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) rose to 3-years highs; rising 0.69% or 2.4 to 348.2.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.23% or 0.12 to $52.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.14% or 0.09 to hit $58.91 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.10 to trade at $1155.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.20% to 6.7666, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4626.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.87% at 96.79.
