Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.00% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 3.57% or 10.00 points to trade at 290.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 3.19% or 90.00 points to end at 2,912.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 2.73% or 36.00 points to 1,352.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 0.83% or 7.60 points to trade at 905.20 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 0.76% or 90.00 points to end at 11,770.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 0.68% or 80.00 points to 11,620.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 65 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.71% or 0.51 to $72.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.67% or 0.51 to hit $76.09 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 6.45 to trade at $1,975.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 103.20.
