Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.93%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 3.09% or 23.30 points to trade at 777.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) added 2.88% or 22.50 points to end at 803.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.97% or 8.00 points to 832.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 6.33% or 8.80 points to trade at 129.50 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 3.17% or 4.20 points to end at 128.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.27% or 7.90 points to 340.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 48 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.33% or 8.80 to 129.50. Shares in Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.27% or 7.90 to 340.30.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.49% or 1.06 to $70.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.81% or 0.60 to hit $73.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 6.56 to trade at $2,669.24 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 7.10, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 106.58.
