Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.93%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 3.36% or 12.3 points to trade at 380.4 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 2.90% or 8.9 points to end at 315.8 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 2.53% or 5.1 points to 206.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.56% or 148 points to trade at 9316 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 0.21% or 0.4 points to end at 187.6 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.38% or 3.0 points to 799.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 43 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $57.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $62.37 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 6.35 to trade at $1464.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.7869, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4718.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.245.
