Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 11.27% or 98.8 points to trade at 975.2 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) added 10.07% or 24.7 points to end at 270.1 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 3.73% or 3.8 points to 105.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 4.31% or 13.0 points to trade at 288.8 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.34% or 7.6 points to end at 561.0 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was down 1.03% or 6.6 points to 637.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 48 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.07% or 1.57 to $52.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.40% or 1.35 to hit $57.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 11.35 to trade at $1508.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.6560, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 97.297.
