Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.76%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 4.29% or 26.5 points to trade at 644.7 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.15% or 460 points to end at 21860 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.96% or 450 points to 23400 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 2.98% or 14.60 points to trade at 475.00 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 2.67% or 66 points to end at 2410 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 2.00% or 44.0 points to 2157.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 73 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.98% or 14.60 to 475.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.17% or 0.15 to $87.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.11% or 0.10 to hit $88.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 2.08% or 38.05 to trade at $1791.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.85% to 6.6751, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4434.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.78% at 97.155.
