Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.74%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 4.08% or 540 points to trade at 13780 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 3.96% or 82.0 points to end at 2152.0 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 3.10% or 18.6 points to 618.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 5.00% or 9.7 points to trade at 184.3 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.93% or 10.2 points to end at 518.6 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 0.77% or 0.85 points to 110.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 43 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.31% or 0.19 to $61.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $64.48 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.70 to trade at $1726.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.1693, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4359.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 90.993.
