Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 3.10% or 30.50 points to trade at 1,015.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.65% or 17.50 points to end at 677.70 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 2.20% or 15.80 points to 735.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.79% or 3.20 points to trade at 111.60 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.77% or 9.50 points to end at 333.80 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 2.35% or 3.60 points to 149.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 67 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.04% or 2.60 to $82.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.68% or 2.39 to hit $86.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 11.05 to trade at $2,009.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.40% to 7.04, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 106.02.
