Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.63% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 16.78% or 43.2 points to trade at 300.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.50% or 18.0 points to end at 532.8 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 3.12% or 3.4 points to 110.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 5.18% or 13.4 points to trade at 245.1 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 0.67% or 1.10 points to end at 162.30 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.47% or 0.4 points to 89.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 51 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.18% or 13.4 to 245.1. Shares in ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) fell to 3-years lows; losing 0.67% or 1.10 to 162.30.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.16% or 0.09 to $56.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.97% or 0.58 to hit $60.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.85 to trade at $1514.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.04% to 6.7187, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4556.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.055.
