Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.57% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.20% or 17.6 points to trade at 436.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 2.35% or 1.75 points to end at 76.25 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 2.32% or 5.40 points to 238.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 0.10% or 1.0 points to trade at 1031.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 339.7 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.24% or 1.5 points to 626.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 51 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.10% or 1.0 to 1031.0.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.72% or 0.41 to $56.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.28% or 0.18 to hit $63.05 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 8.30 to trade at $1265.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.45% to 6.3077, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 93.11.
