Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 3.51% or 700 points to trade at 20660 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.97% or 640 points to end at 22170 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 2.86% or 69.0 points to 2485.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.86% or 5.0 points to trade at 169.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.51% or 20.2 points to end at 784.8 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 0.06% or 0.2 points to 311.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 43 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.50% or 1.77 to $72.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.84% or 1.36 to hit $75.24 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.98% or 34.85 to trade at $1799.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.5752, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 96.080.
