Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.53%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 8.56% or 80.1 points to trade at 1015.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 4.19% or 9.3 points to end at 231.0 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was up 3.76% or 30.5 points to 841.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 1.01% or 3.8 points to trade at 372.2 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 0.60% or 80 points to end at 13340 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 0.04% or 0.50 points to 1190.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 38 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.63% or 1.41 to $54.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.57% or 1.45 to hit $57.78 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.41% or 26.35 to trade at $1837.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.1836, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4370.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 91.195.
