Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.50% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 4.02% or 5.85 points to trade at 151.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.65% or 22.0 points to end at 624.4 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 3.16% or 18.20 points to 595.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 5.28% or 5.6 points to trade at 100.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.36% or 4.0 points to end at 290.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 0.86% or 2.1 points to 242.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 55 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.65% or 22.0 to 624.4.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.14% or 0.08 to $57.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.11% or 0.07 to hit $62.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.75 to trade at $1461.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.7818, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4728.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 98.238.
