Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.56% or 9.70 points to trade at 389.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 1.86% or 2.05 points to end at 112.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.83% or 16.00 points to 891.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 1.08% or 22.00 points to trade at 2,008.00 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.00% or 9.40 points to end at 935.20 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.42% or 4.50 points to 1,076.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 50 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.95% or 0.78 to $82.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.85% or 0.74 to hit $87.74 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 10.10 to trade at $2,336.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 105.54.
