Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 2.51% or 17.20 points to trade at 701.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 0.93% or 1.50 points to end at 162.80 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 0.80% or 2.20 points to 277.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.56% or 1.14 points to trade at 72.10 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.44% or 4.10 points to end at 279.90 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.30% or 1.60 points to 121.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 68 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.58% or 1.27 to $81.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.33% or 1.13 to hit $86.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 10.25 to trade at $1,988.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.12% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 104.87.
