Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 2.44% or 19.2 points to trade at 807.4 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 2.13% or 4.2 points to end at 203.6 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.02% or 11.2 points to 566.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 0.93% or 2.0 points to trade at 213.3 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 0.85% or 2.2 points to end at 257.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 100.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 40 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.12% or 1.83 to $56.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.52% or 1.64 to hit $63.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 8.85 to trade at $1428.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.7499, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4668.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 98.357.
