Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 3.78% or 78.00 points to trade at 2,143.00 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 3.34% or 35.50 points to end at 1,098.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 2.17% or 2.02 points to 95.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 1.66% or 9.20 points to trade at 545.80 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.52% or 5.50 points to end at 357.40 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.32% or 1.40 points to 441.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 72 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.90% or 0.62 to $69.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.91% or 0.67 to hit $73.91 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 3.85 to trade at $1,997.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 103.46.
