Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 9.02% or 51.00 points to trade at 616.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 7.32% or 150.00 points to end at 2,200.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 6.96% or 39.00 points to 599.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 6.33% or 14.90 points to trade at 220.50 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.29% or 11.60 points to end at 886.60 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.22% or 2.00 points to 928.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 40 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 4.92% or 6.08 to $117.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 5.35% or 6.85 to hit $121.13 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.93% or 39.40 to trade at $2,003.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.71% to 6.71, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.19% at 97.90.
