Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 4.09% or 5.4 points to trade at 137.3 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.57% or 288 points to end at 8364 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 3.17% or 10.0 points to 325.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 0.63% or 0.8 points to trade at 125.8 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.44% or 4.0 points to end at 902.4 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.39% or 2.6 points to 665.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 42 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $66.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.20% or 0.15 to hit $76.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.00 to trade at $1216.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.5927, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 96.87.
