Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 6.80% or 77.0 points to trade at 1210.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 5.43% or 10.9 points to end at 211.7 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 2.93% or 10.4 points to 365.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 0.51% or 1.2 points to trade at 234.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.20% or 20 points to end at 10160 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.20% or 1.5 points to 745.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 31 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.25% or 0.14 to $55.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.65% or 0.40 to hit $61.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.57 to trade at $1281.27 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.3196, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4416.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.76.
