Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 4.23% or 5.2 points to trade at 128.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 3.00% or 19.4 points to end at 665.9 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 2.09% or 47.0 points to 2298.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.42% or 4.7 points to trade at 131.4 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.55% or 7.3 points to end at 279.2 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.27% or 8.8 points to 379.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.08% or 1.00 to $91.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.50% or 0.47 to hit $92.80 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 11.25 to trade at $1819.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.5027, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4436.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 95.380.
