Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.39% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 3.33% or 17.2 points to trade at 534.2 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 3.25% or 12.8 points to end at 407.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.48% or 10.2 points to 421.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 4.07% or 19.1 points to trade at 449.8 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.82% or 3.8 points to end at 459.1 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.31% or 1.1 points to 359.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 33 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.69% or 0.48 to $69.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.84% or 0.62 to hit $74.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.60 to trade at $1226.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.3880, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 94.42.
