Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.33% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.18% or 3.02 points to trade at 98.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) added 2.74% or 5.00 points to end at 187.50 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.54% or 13.90 points to 561.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.25% or 3.30 points to trade at 143.40 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.81% or 285.00 points to end at 15,500.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 0.83% or 130.00 points to 15,520.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 65 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.27% or 1.57 to $70.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.85% or 1.38 to hit $75.97 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.38% or 27.70 to trade at $1,974.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 102.64.
