Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.32% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 4.78% or 24.6 points to trade at 539.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 4.45% or 13.3 points to end at 313.6 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.57% or 19.5 points to 1263.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 4.13% or 28.6 points to trade at 664.2 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.27% or 325 points to end at 9605 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 3.13% or 330 points to 10205.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 63 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.78% or 24.6 to 539.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.34% or 0.24 to $70.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.14% or 0.88 to hit $78.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1319.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.2222, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 92.26.
