Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.30% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.39% or 15.5 points to trade at 664.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 2.34% or 6.8 points to end at 298.0 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 2.03% or 29.0 points to 1458.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which fell 1.16% or 3.80 points to trade at 325.20 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.49% or 60 points to end at 12230 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 0.41% or 1.0 points to 242.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 44 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.61% or 1.20 to $47.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.65% or 1.85 to hit $52.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.78 to trade at $1322.88 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.04% to 6.2621, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4377.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 92.84.
