Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Financials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.05% or 45.6 points to trade at 948.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 4.67% or 5.9 points to end at 132.2 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 4.18% or 350 points to 8714 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 3.67% or 22.6 points to trade at 592.4 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.88% or 1.90 points to end at 214.70 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was down 0.63% or 1.0 points to 158.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 39 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.85% or 1.86 to $63.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.45% or 2.60 to hit $72.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.82% or 22.10 to trade at $1234.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.74% to 6.5470, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4594.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.71% at 96.21.
