Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 4.94% or 8.1 points to trade at 172.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 4.66% or 24.2 points to end at 543.8 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.12% or 5.7 points to 274.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 3.00% or 7.0 points to trade at 226.7 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 0.76% or 0.8 points to end at 111.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 0.53% or 42 points to 7874.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 59 to 57 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.00% or 7.0 to 226.7.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.71% or 1.48 to $53.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.76% or 1.67 to hit $58.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 7.20 to trade at $1495.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.7736, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4695.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 98.208.
