Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.26% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.73% or 13.8 points to trade at 383.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 3.61% or 13.7 points to end at 392.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 3.51% or 21.5 points to 633.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 1.30% or 7.5 points to trade at 570.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 244.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.08% or 0.03 points to 36.58.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 41 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.86% or 0.41 to $47.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.72% or 0.37 to hit $52.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.15 to trade at $1292.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.3226, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4377.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 93.37.
