Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.26% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.25% or 33.5 points to trade at 1063.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 2.07% or 13.2 points to end at 650.8 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.96% or 6.0 points to 314.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.07% or 84 points to trade at 7796 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.06% or 80 points to end at 7495 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 0.50% or 2.1 points to 414.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 46 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 3-years lows; losing 0.50% or 2.1 to 414.9.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.20% or 0.15 to $74.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.95% or 0.74 to hit $78.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1256.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.3504, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4531.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.94.
