Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 8.73% or 31.5 points to trade at 392.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 6.26% or 35.0 points to end at 594.0 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.93% or 23.0 points to 1213.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 2.87% or 16.5 points to trade at 559.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 0.94% or 4.7 points to end at 495.3 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 0.58% or 1.2 points to 206.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 38 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.33% or 0.19 to $57.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.28% or 0.18 to hit $63.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1295.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.2656, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 93.07.
