Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 3.79% or 6.7 points to trade at 183.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 3.19% or 6.9 points to end at 223.5 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 2.70% or 54.0 points to 2054.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 1.38% or 10.40 points to trade at 741.80 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 0.16% or 0.6 points to end at 374.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.61% or 2.6 points to 432.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 107 to 34 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.27% or 0.47 to $37.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.74% or 0.69 to hit $40.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 9.70 to trade at $1736.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.51% to 6.6175, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4566.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.915.
