Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 3.08% or 10.3 points to trade at 344.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 2.81% or 5.5 points to end at 201.2 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 2.78% or 15.6 points to 576.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 3.63% or 3.7 points to trade at 97.6 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 3.13% or 6.0 points to end at 186.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 2.67% or 3.0 points to 111.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 42 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.08% or 2.56 to $60.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 4.22% or 2.91 to hit $66.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.85 to trade at $1514.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 6.7491, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4672.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 97.808.
