Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.21% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 7.11% or 10.00 points to trade at 150.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) added 6.48% or 12.05 points to end at 198.10 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 4.55% or 4.38 points to 100.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 24.09% or 3,690.00 points to trade at 11,630.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 23.14% or 3,565.00 points to end at 11,840.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 0.40% or 2.20 points to 552.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 49 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; down 24.09% or 3,690.00 to 11,630.00. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 23.14% or 3,565.00 to 11,840.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.63% or 0.46 to $73.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $78.24 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 4.80 to trade at $1,985.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 102.29.
