Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.20% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 3.29% or 6.30 points to trade at 197.65 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.53% or 188 points to end at 7608 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was up 2.24% or 6.0 points to 274.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 14.17% or 14.8 points to trade at 89.7 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 4.22% or 4.6 points to end at 104.4 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.03% or 0.1 points to 321.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 50 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 14.17% or 14.8 to 89.7. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; losing 4.22% or 4.6 to 104.4.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.49% or 1.82 to $53.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.00% or 1.22 to hit $62.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 7.85 to trade at $1350.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.6700, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4669.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 97.175.
