Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 5.41% or 21.10 points to trade at 411.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.78% or 34.0 points to end at 1255.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.08% or 196 points to 9606 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 0.87% or 2.6 points to trade at 295.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.14% or 1.0 points to end at 694.8 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 50.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 33 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.01% or 0.01 to $68.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.65% or 0.48 to hit $74.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 4.10 to trade at $1318.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.1475, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4497.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 91.28.
