Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.16% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.17% or 12.10 points to trade at 394.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 2.05% or 20.30 points to end at 1,012.50 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.87% or 13.70 points to 745.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 1.65% or 2.80 points to trade at 167.20 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.55% or 2.95 points to end at 187.20 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 1.53% or 8.60 points to 553.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 66 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; rising 2.05% or 20.30 to 1,012.50. Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; rising 1.87% or 13.70 to 745.70.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.19% or 0.93 to $77.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.06% or 0.88 to hit $82.07 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 8.55 to trade at $2,044.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 103.52.
