Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 3.17% or 44.0 points to trade at 1430.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.27% or 8.0 points to end at 360.9 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 2.26% or 2.4 points to 106.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 2.31% or 198 points to trade at 8392 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 2.18% or 13.0 points to end at 582.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 0.74% or 1.25 points to 168.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 56 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.59% or 0.85 to $54.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.07% or 0.63 to hit $59.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.35 to trade at $1486.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.7061, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4709.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 97.107.
