Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.26% or 23.5 points to trade at 1063.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.19% or 3.6 points to end at 170.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 2.09% or 13.0 points to 634.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 2.12% or 8.4 points to trade at 387.5 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 1.16% or 4.5 points to end at 384.2 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was down 0.93% or 1.5 points to 160.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $72.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.77% or 0.62 to hit $81.15 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1206.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.3367, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4595.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 93.69.
