Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 2.24% or 34.0 points to trade at 1550.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.95% or 345 points to end at 18030 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.92% or 320 points to 17020 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 1.68% or 2.25 points to trade at 131.75 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.22% or 6.1 points to end at 495.9 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 0.72% or 6.60 points to 908.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 57 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.51% or 0.42 to $82.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.41% or 0.35 to hit $84.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 13.25 to trade at $1795.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.3977, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4408.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 93.718.
